Title: Field Claims Manager - Crop

The Opportunity: The purpose of this role is to ensure efficient claims operations by coordinating the distribution of losses, providing technical knowledge and assistance and managing a team of field personnel and adjusters.

  • Location: Work Remotely Minnesota, USA
  • Work Arrangement: This role is fully remote for candidate located in Minnesota ONLY {M-F 37.5 hours}
  • The salary range for this role is between $88,000-$132,000

Your new role

  • Direct thorough investigation of submitted claims to ensure accuracy, compliance with regulations, and meeting business and customer needs.
  • Manage and monitor claims-related escrow finances to ensure efficiency and adherence to industry standards.
  • Audit specialty crop and/or high-dollar claims for compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead development of claims operating policies by collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Provide information to key stakeholders to comply with regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Oversee the management and auditing of all claims within the assigned area from notice of loss to payment.
  • Communicate with agents, claimants, and other stakeholders regarding claim status and issues.
  • Manage a field claims team by setting expectations, leading training, and resolving escalated issues.
  • Maintain loss reserves, assist with claim assignments, and collaborate with the Underwriting department for policy corrections.

Required Qualifications

  • Secondary school certification.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program (CAPP) completion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Work Experience

  • Experience in the insurance industry.
  • Experience in agriculture.
  • Experience in farming.
  • Experience in Crop Insurance
  • Background in Crop Claims Adjusting

Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate's professional background, including their education and experience.
