We are hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide overall behavioral supports to individuals and staff working in the Georgia Crisis Support Homes for adolescents/teens/young adults with ASD. The BCBA must be willing to flex schedule accordingly to provide services, supports, care, and treatment to individuals across all shifts, respond immediately to crisis situations, and be present daily to provide supervision to staff.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan assessment and development for individuals in the program.
  • Develop an individualized crisis plan within 2 days of an individual's admission.
  • Complete a behavioral assessment within 5-7 days of individual's admission.
  • Complete a preliminary draft of an individualized BSP within 7-9 days of admission.
  • Have a completed BSP finalized/implemented within 10-12 days of admission.
  • Work with caregivers/family support system to evaluate and address needed training in behavioral and/or crisis de-escalation techniques/support.
  • Assist with creation of daily activity schedules for the individuals residing in the home.
  • Collaborate with the school(s) to coordinate IEP and behavior plan.
  • Provide all aspects of behavior supports including, but not limited to, direct monitoring, assessment, plan development modification, intervention, data collection/analysis and staff training.
  • Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing crisis supports to ASD adolescents, teens and young adults.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to direct care staff through daily visits to the crisis home.
  • Conduct regular fidelity checks across all shifts and provide necessary feedback and training based on results.
  • Maintain accurate daily documentation of behavior services.
  • Maintain system for collecting program specific information including key data points and quality outcome data
  • Seek input and maintain effective communication with IDT and supervisor.
  • Attend all agency, departmental, and individual specific meetings, as directed.
  • Present behavior data at individual psychiatric appointments.
  • Supervise and assist in transport of individuals in crisis.
  • Supervise and review all incidents of physical intervention.
  • Assist licensed clinician/case manager in case management functions and discharge planning.
  • Supervise RBTs and BCaBAs in collaboration with Clinical Director.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, social work or related field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst license (BCBA) or Behavior Analyst pursing licensure
  • At least two years' experience with behavior supports evaluation and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Certification and ongoing training in crisis intervention curriculum.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Valid Driver's License and auto insurance.
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must be experienced and competent in profession and maintain any applicable license, training and/or certifications
