LMI is seeking a RFMSS System Administrator to support the Army's Range Facility Management Support System (RFMSS). This role supports operations, system administration, and technical troubleshooting for RFMSS as part of a fast-paced, mission-critical program focused on modernizing Army training systems. Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
    Serve as the primary system administrator for RFMSS environments, including production, test, and development systems.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of RFMSS applications and services.
  • Perform patch management, software updates, and system backups in compliance with cybersecurity and RMF standards.
  • Maintain and configure RFMSS servers, databases, and web applications.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with development, cybersecurity, and network teams to resolve outages or incidents.
  • Support account management, user permissions, and system access requests in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), system configurations, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity personnel to ensure compliance with DISA STIGs and vulnerability remediation requirements.
  • Provide technical support to RFMSS users and stakeholders, including issue tracking and resolution through ticketing systems.
  • Participate in system upgrades, data migrations, and other modernization activities related to RFMSS.
  • Assist in the development and execution of contingency and disaster recovery plans.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of experience in system administration, preferably supporting DoD systems or applications.

  • Active DoD Secret clearance.

  • Experience with Windows Server administration, IIS, and SQL Server.

  • Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity compliance frameworks, including RMF and eMASS.

  • Experience applying DISA STIGs and remediating vulnerabilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be willing to travel to PI Planning events once per quarter.

Preferred:

  • Experience with RFMSS or similar Army training systems.

  • CompTIA Security+ CE or higher IAT Level II certification (required to meet DoD 8570 requirements).

  • Familiarity with ACAS scans, POA&Ms, and system hardening best practices.

  • Experience working within AWS GovCloud or similar cloud environments.
