Security Officer - Logistics Patrol

As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol in NEWARK, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

Our Patrol Officers play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment within the logistics and distribution location. As an unarmed officer, you will conduct routine patrols, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. Your role involves providing exceptional customer service and clear communication, contributing to a positive experience for all individuals on site. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• CA Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
