JOB SUMMARY

The Manager of Aviation Training will manage the Flight Training Department to include the Aviation Ground Instructor, Aviation Simulator Operators, Aviation Training Clerk, and Chief Flight Instructors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

• The Manager of Aviation Training will assist the SDFO and CP with creating and/or rewriting all manuals related to all aspects of Flight Operations.
• The Manager of Aviation Training assists maintenance in the Training Department as required.
• The Manager of Aviation Training oversees and manages all aspects of the Flight Training Department to include:
  • Ground training.
  • Simulator training.
  • Flight training.
• The Manager of Aviation Training manages and coordinates the development of the pilot training curriculum and associated training materials.
• The Manager of Aviation Training performs duties as helicopter simulator instructor as required.
• The Manager of Aviation Training performs duties as ground instructor as required.
• The Manager of Aviation Training performs duties as a flight instructor and/or check airman as required.
