Fox Corporation is currently seeking a Manager to join the Corporate Development team. The Manager will play an active role in driving forward various high-impact projects across functions and businesses throughout FOX. With a flexible project mix and insight into decision-making at the highest levels, the Manager will bring a deep knowledge of media, entertainment and technology and the ability to the industry as well as a vast, enduring skill set. Primary responsibilities include the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in due diligence and transaction structuring of potential investments, joint ventures, and acquisitions.
  • Support FOX operating units with financial analysis and evaluation of growth initiatives and new business launches.
  • Create presentations for senior management to facilitate discussion of corporate opportunities and other strategic business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional operating teams across the Company, including, distribution, ad sales, legal, financial reporting, accounting, tax, and investor relations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline or engineering and/or MBA is highly desirable.
  • At least two to five years of experience in or in a blend of investment banking, private equity, corporate development, and/or management consulting, with a focus on core corporate finance principles.
  • Experience participating in M&A due diligence processes, financial modeling, and presentations to leadership. Integration experience a plus.
  • Track record of delivering superior results individually and in teams while assisting in multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to analyze highly complex financial and strategic issues related to M&A, joint ventures, investments, etc. and communicate findings to Senior Executives verbally and through written presentations.
  • Experience and high level of interest in the media and technology space.
  • Capable of organizing unstructured and incomplete data sets to perform key analytics.
  • Proven ability to identify data needs and willingness to roll up sleeves and dive into analysis.
  • Demonstrated strength in converting analytics into insights that are practical and actionable.
  • Ability to develop and become a trusted advisor to corporate and business unit leadership on M&A and strategic topics.
  • Excellent collaborative, influencing, and negotiation skills, achieves win-win results in challenging situations.
  • Demonstrate character traits such as humility, discipline, and iron will type of mindset.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Can inform and influence at all levels, internally and externally - proven ability to engage people at all levels of an organization.
  • Hands-on, "roll up your sleeves" mindset with the proven ability to be a driver and change agent in an organization.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $128,000.00-149,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
