Position: Sales and Market Analyst

Position Overview:

We're looking for a sharp, business-minded Sales and Market Analyst to join our growing team. In this role you'll blend sales performance analysis with market intelligence to uncover strategic opportunities that drive revenue growth, expansion, and operational efficiency. By delivering actionable insights, you'll play a key role in shaping data-driven decisions across the business. You'll partner closely with the Sales and Finance teams to analyze sales performance, forecast trends, and identify growth opportunities in both current and emerging markets.

What You'll Do:



  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement across products, regions, and customer segments
  • Create and maintain dashboards, and reports for sales KPIs forecasts and pipeline management
  • Support sales leadership with data-driven insights to guide strategy and decision-making
  • Monitor sales activities, conversion rates and the effectiveness of sales campaigns
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs
  • Perform SWOT analysis and benchmark competitors' pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies
  • Analyze customer and market segments to identify new opportunities for growth
  • Provide regular updates on industry developments, market conditions, and risks
  • Support product and strategy teams with data on customer behavior and market demand
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Assist with special projects


What You'll Need:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in sales analysis, market research, or business analytics
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
  • Experience with forecasting and financial modeling
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Background in distribution is a plus
  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field is a plus
