Sr. Java FSE w/AWS and React.JS (Hybrid)

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Java, Spring boot, AWS, React.JS and SQL. This role encompasses leadership responsibilities, including different planning strategies. By ensuring robust and efficient system operations, the candidate will play a key role in advancing our company's mission.

Location: Plano, TX - USA (Hybrid)

• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using AWS, Vue / React JS, SQL, Spring Boot, Java, Javascript, and MySQL.
• Participate in Scrum Calls
• Analyze existing customer applications.
• Prepare High level technical understanding document detailing the functionalities along with interface specifications.
• Write clean, testable code using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices AWS
• Identify technical issues with the existing code and propose suitable fixes
• Upgrade existing code (Review and Refactor)
• Analyze performance issues in the existing stored procedures and identify fixes
• Perform POCs to validate solution, design services, components and architecture considerations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Work closely with product managers and designers to understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

• BS/BA degree or an equivalent 8+ years of experience with hands on development experience.
• Must have strong experience with AWS, React JS, SQL, Spring Boot, Java, Javascript, and MySQL.
• Should have a deep understanding of Loan Booking and Document Management domains.
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Should possess strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Nice to have experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Should be able to work in a hybrid model with day shifts.

The annual salary for this position is between $81,441 - $163,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
