This Senior Digital Product Manager role is responsible for the strategic management of new and existing member self-service scheduling digital products and experiences within Consumer Product Office of UHC. This role will assist in achieving the strategic vision of increasing accessibility to care by being the bridge from consideration to care to obtaining care. Specifically, this position will be responsible for the creation and refinement of strategic and operational business requirements to facilitate development of new capabilities as well as identify and facilitate opportunities to improve our experience performance.This individual is responsible for partnering with cross-channel teams to ensure business objectives, digital delivery, self-service viability, SLA's, stability, and rapid issue management.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Build relationships, understand and articulate stakeholder needs, define roadmap and communicate priorities in order to plan for efficient integration of relevant capabilities into the digital experience
  • Holistic understanding of the digital experience and aligned to business priorities to drive efforts forward
  • Delivers requirements, performs analysis, and evaluates downstream business, systems, process, and/or organizational impacts
  • Keep stakeholders informed of all new digital capabilities that are available and work with the digital product team to build a plan to deliver for the verticals in the future
  • Translate business goals and objectives into actionable, value-driven digital strategies that support consumer products
  • Knowledgeable of the member digital experience within authenticated UHC digital assets
  • Provide internal and external product support of the member experience
  • Work with stakeholders to build a process to identify new digital product features
  • Remove hurdles that could negatively impact productivity, project timelines or digital member experience
  • Provides subject matter expert and operational support to internal business partners
  • Partners to create necessary business artifacts (i.e. features, user stories, acceptance criteria)
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:



  • 4+ years of consumer facing product management experience within healthcare or related industry
  • Experience working with stakeholders/clients/senior leaders (managing expectations, managing delivery dates)
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams comprised of product managers, project managers, design and engineering
  • Experience in focusing on user experience and consumer centric
  • Experience to drive execution in digital product development and experiences
  • General knowledge of current digital web and application standards
  • Proven to conduct discovery, define requirements, create and prioritize product features
  • Proven strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategiesand requirements
  • Proven to define and tracks key performance indications (KPIs) to measure the success of our digital product, iterating based on data-driven insights
  • Proven track record of driving results-oriented initiatives with solid communication, influencing, problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Proven comfort and willingness to travel occasionally to UHC offices



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience managing and partnering with vendors
  • Clinical or provider experience
  • Demonstrated ability to turn complicated inputs into a clear, communicable vision
  • Demonstrated solid ability to absorb and make sense of varying connected pieces to direct decision making
  • Agile background

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
