Job Purpose:

The role has overall accountability for the execution and delivery of the GSC Quality Plan.

The 2030 Quality Ambition is critical to enabling future ready Quality organization that is operating proactively to accelerate high quality products to our patients.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for leading and overseeing the Quality organization's project management office, ensuring successful execution of strategic projects and initiatives. This role involves defining project management standards, improving project governance and aligning projects with business objectives. Collaborates with senior leadership to enhance efficiency, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement in project delivery.

  • Establish governance framework to ensure compliance, quality and accountability in project execution.

  • Build capability in PMO tools and software applications, providing clear guidance on scheduling, budgeting, task management, resource allocation, reporting, and communication tools.

  • Responsible for translation and acceleration of proactive quality strategic pillar across GSC Quality in partnership with Quality Systems Lead, Global Engineering and Global Technology

  • Develop team, succession planning in place and team continues to evolve to ensure they have the skills and capacity for Ambition 2030.

  • Partner across the QLT and wider quality teams to build and deliver an ambitious set of deliverables that will create value for our patient, our business and our people.

  • Manage Ambition 2030 road map to deliver Quality as a Competitive Advantage.

  • Member of the Business Excellence Quality Leadership team, input into Quality Ambition 2030 and strategy deployment.

  • Manage Smart Manufacturing Quality roadmap with key partners in the network.

  • Develop capability in the use of the Hoshin Kanri Process.

  • Create Annual Quality Improvement Plan and support translation enabling clear strategy deployment.

  • Accountable for managing Central Quality CAPEX budget for Quality Plan, coaching and supporting leaders in GSC on adherence to the project financial plan.

  • Secondary location: the successful candidate should be located close to one of GSK strategic locations (manufacturing site or R&D hub)

Basic qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • BA/BS degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, Science, Data Science, Project Management

  • 10 years of experience working in a digital environment driving significant change initiative projects

  • Experience working in a regulated environment in a technical or engineering role

  • Project Management, Leadership, Innovation, Continuous Improvement, Decision Making, Problem Solving and an ability to translate business requirements to deliver digital solutions that drive value.

  • Practical experience in Change Management

Preferred qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Master's degree in Project Management Project Management, Data Science/ Analytics, Continuous Improvement, Strategy Deployment/ E2E Business Knowledge

  • PMP certification

  • MBA

  • Experience in Technical, IT or engineering role

  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry

  • Experience working in agile teams that drive innovation and blue skies thinking

  • Ability to work across an enterprise to influence business outcomes as quickly as possible
