Description
The Staff Research Associate III (SRA III) will work closely with the Principal Investigator, to understand the genetic factors that contribute to an individual's susceptibility for disease and other factors that are clinically relevant (e.g. genetic predisposition for drug contraindications).
Duties of the SRA III include but are not limited to: create innovative sequencing pipelines to analyze short and long read high throughput sequencing read data to identify complex genetic abnormalities in a pipeline that is the most cost effective with the most accurate results; create polygenic risk score models that are clinically relevant; work with researchers and clinicians to understand how to use and report genetic predisposition data to patients in the clinic; produce written reports, final executable code, and visual representation of results. The SRA III must be able to travel to appropriate scientific meetings to present results.
This is a full-time, 3-month limited position that may convert to career.
Salary Range: $66,431.27 - $106,830.32 Annually Qualifications
