Supplier Quality & Development Engineer

BL BA - Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager

As a Supplier Quality and Development Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our suppliers and their products. You will work closely with our supply chain, engineering, and quality teams to develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, focusing on resale products, brand label products, mechanical components, and PCBAs. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
In this position, you will be reporting to BL BA - Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager.
The work model for the role is: Remote
You will be mainly accountable for:
*Leading supplier qualification and development processes including conducting on-site quality and EHS audits.
*Managing and developing supplier quality processes and documentation to ensure compliance with divisional QMS.
*Leading supplier complaints, reporting performance KPIs, and facilitating root cause analysis & corrective actions.
*Involvement in the New Product Introduction (NPI) process by collaborating with product development teams to ensure supplier capabilities align with quality requirements.
*Managing parts and products qualification process and oversee the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to ensure that suppliers meet the required quality standards before production.

• 8+ years of experience in quality management.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with PPAP, APQP for resale, brand label low voltage electrical products, and PCBAs is a plus.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and compliance regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, IPC standards).
• ISO 9001 auditor certification is a plus.
