Staffmark is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Shipping Associate to join a fast-paced, innovative technology distribution company in Chanhassen, MN. This is a temporary opportunity offering a supportive environment and an exciting opportunity to grow your skills!

Pay Rate: $19.00-$21.00/hr (based on experience)

Schedule Options:

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Position Overview:

The Shipping Associate is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of outbound shipments. This role involves packaging materials, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring all orders are shipped according to company and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Review and print daily shipping lists.
  • Use pick lists to gather and package items professionally and securely.
  • Verify the accuracy of shipments using checklists and ensure safe transit.
  • Coordinate with DHL, UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers for proper routing.
  • Record shipping data, costs, and tracking information into internal systems.
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets and proprietary systems.
  • Prepare materials for shipment including kitting and labeling.
  • Perform administrative functions including documentation, scanning, data entry, and filing.
  • Stage pallets or load trucks as needed.
  • Collaborate with sales coordination, deployment, and accounting teams.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Provide backup support in receiving, inventory, and general warehouse tasks as needed.



Qualifications:



  • 1-3 years of experience in a shipping or receiving warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with FedEx and/or UPS systems and shipping procedures is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Forklift experience is preferred; certification is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with MS Dynamics - Solomon is beneficial.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
