We are seeking a highly skilled Architect with 12 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have mandatory technical expertise in Azure Databricks and a good understanding of Data Models. This hybrid work model position requires a proactive individual who can manage projects efficiently and contribute to our company's success.

  • Design, develop and implement Big data/cloud applications
  • Provide technical support and responsible to create technical strategies
  • Responsible to work closely with various stakeholders, including IT managers, developers, and business users, to gather requirements, explain technical designs
  • Co-ordinate with IT stakeholders for any deployment activities
Responsibilities
  • Lead project planning sessions to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Oversee all aspects of project management including scope budget and timeline.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members on Azure Databricks.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
  • Communicate project status risks and issues to customers regularly.
  • Ensure project work meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes.
  • Apply data models to inform project decisions and strategies.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment for the project team.
Qualifications
  • Possess a solid technical background in Azure Databricks.
  • Have a good understanding of data models and their application in projects.
  • Demonstrate excellent project management skills with a proven track record.
  • Exhibit good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Show ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Display proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Have experience working in a hybrid work model.
  • Be detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Show ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Exhibit strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Have a proactive and results-driven approach.
  • Possess a relevant project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2.
Certifications Required

PMP or PRINCE2 certification is required.

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $117,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
