We are currently seeking an Engineer II to assist with the development of Naval Aviation Training Systems and Ranges for PMA-205. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties, as well as possess the following education and experience:

Duties:



  • Provides engineering, technical, and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development and implementation for complex systems in the engineering discipline required to meet technical requirements.
  • Makes recommendations and advises on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts.
  • Performs risk assessments and analysis employing modeling and simulation techniques.
  • Performs tasks with little or no guidance.
  • Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan and design, develop, implement, test or evaluate military weapons systems.
  • Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals and other technical documentation.
  • Applies systems engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
  • Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems.


Required Experience:



  • 5+ years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.
  • Has demonstrated knowledge in area of engineering expertise.


Required Education:



  • May require a Master's degree.


ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: A BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related scientific discipline and an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience may be substituted for a MS or MA degree. These four (4) years of experience are in addition to the required minimum of twelve (12) years to meet the "Experience" requirements below, therefore, requiring a total of fourteen (16) years of experience.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $86,190.40-$155,142.72 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
