As a Security Professional - Armed Screener in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Screener in a technology-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. Your presence and routine patrols support a welcoming atmosphere while providing exceptional customer service and communication. This post requires driving and is armed. Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions depending on the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have experience with SSO Chemical/Petrochemical - MARSEC security operations.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located.
• Must be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or possess an equivalent qualification.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military service.
• Must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Must have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience OR 2 years of security supervisor/manager experience OR 3 years of security experience.
• A college degree is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license that meets AU driver policy requirements.
• A valid Law Enforcement Officer License is required.
• California Security Professional Guard Card is required.
• Must possess, or be able to obtain prior to assignment, Level 1 Guard Card Training Certificates (Powers to Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force)
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
