Under the supervision of the Director of ClinicalServices, the Youth Liaison (YL) is responsible for providing case management services to youth. Additionally, the YL assists program leaders, clinicians, and the Norris Academy employees to ensure a therapeutic environment is maintained on the hall and in the school setting, personalized treatment needs are addressed, trauma informed practices are utilized, and barrier needs of youth and families are attended to in order to promote sustainable results in the areas of safety, permanency, and well-being. The YL ensures sensitivity to the ethnic and cultural diversity of youth, families, and employees while effectively communicating and promoting the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of Norris. As a 24/7 treatment program, the YL position requires the individual to work a flexible schedule in order to support the needs of their hall and the program and understands that their schedule is subject to change to meet the program's evolving needs at any time, including nights, weekends and holidays. The YL position requires the individual is able to transport youth and/or families served in a Norris-owned or personal vehicle when needed.
