WHO YOU ARE:

As a Senior Web UI Designer, you will be responsible for crafting engaging designs, layouts, and interactive prototypes that support user-centric digital experiences across our global web presence. Your work will align with Snowflake's brand identity and marketing objectives, while driving measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.

In this role, you'll lead the development of scalable systems, support innovation, and shape UI design strategy through best practices, UX thinking, and data-driven iteration. You'll interpret the Snowflake brand in the context of in-browser experiences-delivering the right information in the right way, with a focus on performance, usability, and conversion.

You'll collaborate across teams to improve the user experience of Snowflake's corporate website and related properties, helping to define and execute a forward-looking web vision. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Web Experience Design as part of the Brand Marketing organization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Design compelling experiences for Snowflake.com web properties that reflect our brand, resonate with target audiences and drive conversions.

  • Produce high-fidelity visuals (wireframes, mockups, prototypes) to effectively communicate design concepts and user flows to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

  • Build and maintain a scalable web UI design system, including reusable components and patterns, to ensure consistency across Snowflake's web presence

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Brand Design, SEO, and Content to translate project requirements and marketing goals into intuitive, visually engaging experiences.

  • Create new page templates, patterns, and components on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and iterate on existing ones.

  • Partner with developers and front-end engineers to ensure accurate implementation of visual design and interaction details.

  • Contribute meaningfully to the evolution of our designs by actively participating in discussions and brainstorming with fresh, innovative ideas.

  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging design technologies to continuously elevate the user experience.

  • Demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work seamlessly across global teams.

  • Maintain a fearless attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.

  • Iterate on global designs to support regionalized and translated web content.

WHAT YOU'LL HAVE:
  • Proactive self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.

  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, SEO, web usability and accessibility best practices

  • Strong front-end knowledge, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies to effectively work alongside front-end engineers.

  • Deep knowledge of CMS implementation best practices, with an understanding of how public-facing content integrates with internal CMS architecture.

  • Experience creating scalable components and contributing to web-based design systems, including creating robust documentation for engineering handoffs.

  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality design work in fast-paced environments, managing multiple projects under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented approach to design across all modern browsers and devices.

  • Quick to understand complex enterprise workflows and technical processes.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Web UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing public-facing web projects, including experience designing for B2B tech company websites.

  • Proficiency in Figma, including a deep understanding of best practices for efficient workflows, advanced component creation and management (including variants), and effective utilization of design tokens and variables for scalability and consistency.

  • Working knowledge of web animation tools such as Lottie, GSAP and Rive

  • Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Heap, and Hotjar, with an understanding of how to apply insights to improve UX.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and related workflow tools such as JIRA or Wrike.

  • Expertise in working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar enterprise-level content management systems.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $148,000 - $206,800.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
