Job Summary
The Workspace Solutions Executive is responsible for identifying and closing new Workspace services opportunities into CDW mid-market and enterprise accounts. This position will require presenting CDW's Workspace solution capabilities through customer-facing meetings, CDW hosted events, and selected Workspace partner events.

What you will do:

  • Achieve all assigned revenue, services and gross profit goals including penetration and consumption metrics.
  • Collaborate with CDW Field Account Executives and Account Managers to identify and close workspace
  • Engage with Workspace Partner Sales teams to identify and close services engagements. This includes strategic planning, forecasting, marketing events, and account penetration strategies.
  • Present the CDW Workspace Solutions Value Proposition to potential customers and partners to educate all customers on the robustness of our total workspace offerings.
  • Proactively manage the client workspace business, including Quarterly Briefings, detailed solution trending analysis, and technology briefings.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations to C level executives on their workspace infrastructure and how to maximize Workspace spend through the appropriate licensing program and vendor selections.
  • Subject Matter Expert for all Microsoft solutions and service offerings.
  • Proactively focus on incremental growth of workspace solutions business within each customer, including increasing overall workspace penetration within a customer's budget.
  • Follow up and close pending solution sales opportunities.
  • Provide accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts to management including updating CDW's workspace pipeline and CRM tool.
  • Build and maintain relationships with inside and field-based Workspace partner Account Teams.
  • Participate in Red Carpet Executive Briefing presentations for existing and potential customers.
  • Maintain knowledge of Workspace contract terms and conditions by staying up to date with vendor-specific licensing certifications through participation in ongoing training.
  • Build and deliver training sessions to CDW Account Executives' and Account Managers to increase understanding of the CDW workspace value proposition and drive incremental workspace business.
  • Proactively notify customers of relevant workspace solution changes and developments.
  • Effectively collaborate with team members within Workspace Solutions practice.
  • Solution Sales : Target accounts of 200+ seats with a low percentage of spend.
  • Recommend best workspace solution for customer environment.
  • Follow up and close pending deals directly with customers.
  • Professional customer presentations via onsite visits, conference calls and CDW hosted events on workspace solution capabilities.
  • Manage customer opportunities from qualification to close.
  • Sell all contractual Workspace Services and CDW service offerings.
  • Assist with large re-order including upsell and related opportunities.
  • Solution Sales: Position and Identify CDW Services Opportunities.
  • Drive Microsoft Cloud consumption in account base.

What we expect of you:

  • Associates' Degree
  • 2 years of sales experience
  • Proven customer-facing ability
  • Ability to present and close business to senior level officers
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong communication, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with a track record of meeting deadlines and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business
  • Proven ability to proactively collaborate and build relationships, take initiative, and creatively problem solve
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% or as needed to other CDW locations, meetings and client sites
  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information. Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology. Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize. Ability to apply common sense in performing job. Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years minimum sales experience in Microsoft Workspace Solutions
  • 2 years previous field sales experience
  • Proven ability to exceed sales quotas on a regular basis
  • Strong customer and vendor relationships in designated territory

Pay range: $ 50,000 - $ 83.000, depending on experience and skill set
Uncapped commission subject to terms and conditions of plan
