About the Role:

The HVAC Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems within our business services environment. This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, with a particular focus on environmental chambers and cooling systems. The specialist will work closely with other team members to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions that enhance system efficiency and longevity. By maintaining high standards of service, the HVAC Specialist contributes to a comfortable and safe working environment for all employees. Ultimately, this role is vital in supporting the overall operational success of our organization through effective climate control solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification in HVAC technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HVAC installation and maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in HVAC technology or a related field.
  • Experience with advanced cooling systems and environmental chambers.
  • EPA certification for refrigerant handling.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including environmental chambers and cooling systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement energy-efficient practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of service and repairs, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Skills:

The required skills in environmental chambers and cooling systems are essential for the daily tasks of the HVAC Specialist, as they directly relate to the systems being maintained and repaired. Proficiency in diagnosing issues allows the specialist to quickly identify problems and implement solutions, minimizing downtime.
