Credence is seeking a Business Analyst/Specialist to join Credence team on FedMall/STORES program. This position will provide an opportunity to work with PMO and various stakeholders including an experienced team of Software Engineers, Requirement Analysts, Project Managers, Solutions Architects and Cybersecurity professional to understand business needs, requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop solutions to address challenges to improve business processes within the FedMall system. In this position, the Business Analyst/Specialist will act as a bridge between stakeholders, PMO, UI/UX designers, developers and testers to communicate requirements to ensure that solutions meet both business and technical requirements. The candidate will have the opportunity to grow their career in the software development and engineering space by honing their skillset. This position is based either in Credence's corporate offices located in Tyson's Corner in McLean, VA or in our offices in Dayton, OH.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

    Learn about program mission objectives and processes to achieve objectives
  • Learn and understand the architectures of program applications and systems
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret information necessary to create requirements for system improvements
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business needs, functional requirements, and project objectives. Identify, capture, define and propose solutions to streamline business processes and efficiencies within FedMall. Document and track all requirements in Jira and write CHGs
  • Collaborate with developers to understand all possible solutions and document solutions in Jira for new or modified system functionality in FedMall
  • Gather requirements from end-users of FedMall/STORES and convert them into programmable user-stories
  • Participate in software development planning and engineering activities
  • Perform implementations of plans assigned, such as, system builds, test plans, documentation, and training
  • Coordinate, implement, document and deploy a wide range of system administration duties on application and database including installation, data security projects, data protection and optimization, Change Management, ongoing maintenance activities, break/fix troubleshooting and software engineering support
  • Communicate requirements, solutions, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders, PMO, UI/UX designers, developers and testers
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team, working closely with development teams, DevOps, UI/UX designers, and testers
  • Assist with project planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring projects stay on track
  • Execute tasks based on service requests and document changes
  • Provide helpdesk support to FedMall/STORES end-users


Education, Requirements and Qualifications

  • US citizen with the ability to obtain a public trust is required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and a minimum of 5 years related technical work experience
  • Ability to work and produce results in an Agile and fast-paced environment with dynamic deadlines
  • Familiarity with basic cloud concepts

Nice to Have

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Associate Level Certification
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Existing DoD Public Trust
