Senior Inside Sales Representative - National Remote

Working Hours: Most of the time, the candidate will work between 8:00 - 5:00pm, their own time zone. This role will support all four time zones so candidates will be required to occasionally work those hours that match another time zone.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders; product managers, sales managers, sales reps, etc.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to determine training needs
  • Gain a deep understanding of the medical coding industry.
  • Gain a deep understanding of Optum products that support the medical coding industry.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the tools and technology used to by our reps.
  • Develop and facilitate new hire/intern trainings
  • Develop and facilitate on going uptraining for current reps
  • Identify, record, and communicate best practices from top reps to be shared with other reps
  • Act in support sales reps in sale process (trainer must have ability do sales roles)


Accountabilities:



  • Acceptable and above feedback from sale reps, managers, and product managers after New Hire trainings and refresher trainings
  • Must be available for new hire trainings when needed (a few times a year)
  • Must take a proactive part in creating refresher trainings with sales reps, managers, and product managers
  • Must keep own knowledge and skills at top level around products, industry, tools, and sales skills
  • Must be able to participate in sale process


This trainer position does have the ability to make sales bonus/commissions

Required Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR 4+ years of sales experience
  • 3+ years of experience in sales (with healthcare, SAAS products preferred, but not required) or 3+ years training sales skills
  • Ability to work between 8:00 - 5:00pm EST


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Understanding of sales skills/process
  • Understanding of healthcare industry (preferably in medical coding)
  • Understand of Sales Force or similar CRM
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office products (particularly PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Understanding of how to run polls and focus groups

The salary range for this role is $19.23 to $38.46 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
