DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting other work units by researching driver's license records and microfilm to determine REAL ID eligibility and consistency. The REAL ID Bureau reviews documents such as microfilm/microfiche and EDMS documentation to determine if the documents presented to receive Real ID satisfy Real ID laws, policies, and guidelines. The review includes ensuring documents are valid, signed and/or certified by the appropriate authorities, and any special acceptance or requirements were met prior to REAL ID program approval. Work involves the receipt, investigation, review, determination and correction of REAL ID product issues. This entails providing real-time support for the Driver License (DL) field staff on REAL ID questions and needed fixes, working and collaborating with various internal Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) staff, and ensuring that REAL ID issuance can be achieved while also meeting federal REAL ID requirements. - Full-time employment, 75 hours bi-weekly
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirement:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- This position requires the selected candidate to undergo and pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment.
