Job Description The Project GLAD Instructional Specialist will support the growth of the Project GLAD approach with the delivery of Project GLAD Foundations Training (2-day Research and Theory Workshop and 4-day Classroom Demonstration) and will focus on supporting ACPS schools and other school systems with follow-up professional development opportunities for Project GLAD implementation. Primary responsibilities associated with this position will be to support the growth of the Project GLAD approach and tasks associated with the development of ongoing tailored follow-up with schools that want to continue the work of refining Project GLAD in ACPS and the Regional Training Center. This position will report to the Project GLAD Specialist/Coordinator in the Office of English Learner Services. This is a 12-month, 240 day position. There are Two (2) openings for this position. Qualifications Evidence of Project GLAD expertise, routine use of Project GLAD strategies, and dynamic presentation and facilitation skills are required. Education: Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Education. Certificates and License: A valid Virginia Department of Education license is required, or eligibility to obtain one; EL Certification preferred. Experience
