This role plays a vital part in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products and processes through diligent monitoring, documentation, and reporting.


QC Coordinator - LIMS Implementation

Position Type: Long Term Contract

Shift: Monday through Friday

Pay: Between $30 to $35 an hour

One person needs to have experience with Microbiology and Environmental Monitoring.

The other person needs to have experience with Chemistry.

Job Function:



  • Performs and reviews the Daily Compliance Verification Checklist, documents results and reports to immediate supervisor.
  • Performs and coordinates the completion of environmental monitoring and documentation, collection of environment monitoring samples, sterility tests, aseptic technique qualifications and medical fill process validations.
  • Responsible for verifying, filing, compilation and documentation of test report, relevant documentation of all test conducted and quality batch records.
  • Submits samples to the appropriate labs for chemical assay and microbial tests.
  • Provides immediate feedback to leadership on all quality related problems.
  • Records results into monthly and quarterly reports. Supports audits as required.
  • Help get the Labware LIMS implemented onsite



Education and Professional Knowledge:



  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, or other sciences



Experience:



  • Ideal candidates would have 2-5+ years of experience, but only 1 year is required
  • LIMS administrator experience
  • Experience with implementation/ training/ SME work



Knowledge and Skills Requirements:



  • Requires working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization. Exercises general application of principles, theories and concepts. Follows established procedures and guidelines.



Supervision Given and Received:



  • Works under direct supervision and from detailed verbal and/or written instructions. Uses established procedures to accomplish assigned task.
