Business Systems Analyst

Job Description: Continuously assess the effectiveness and efficiency of Salesforce systems. Identify areas for optimization, whether in flow, processes, or system configurations, to enhance user experience and drive productivity. Establish and enforce governance policies and best practices to maintain data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Regularly review access controls, data sharing rules, and security protocols to mitigate risks. Partner with teams such as Sales Operations, Customer Success, Deal Desk, Finance, Marketing and Legal to understand their goals and help define and implement Salesforce system solutions. Collaborate closely to drive system improvements and adoption of CRM tools. Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of work. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Stay informed about new Salesforce features, updates, and best practices. Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in CRM. Work with technical teams to develop integration requirements and ensure smooth system integration. Ensure that Salesforce and associated applications work seamlessly to support business processes across the lifecycle. Ensure systems are configured to meet business requirements and optimize performance. Telecommuting permissible from anywhere in the US.

Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Business Analytics or related field and three (3) years of experience in Salesforce Administration space or related role or in the job offered.

Experience and/or education must include:  

1. Salesforce platform features, functionalities, and capabilities including proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, data management, security settings, and user management;

2. Integration Management: Understanding of integrating Salesforce with other systems using APIs, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), and third-party integration tools.

3. Solution Design: Capability to design end-to-end solutions that address business requirements, including process automation, flows, and custom applications;

4. DevOps and CI/CD: Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) within the Salesforce ecosystem.

5. Security and Access Control: Understanding of Salesforce security model, including role hierarchy, sharing rules, permission sets, and field-level security to control access to data and functionalities;

6. Salesforce Lightning Experience and its components, including Lightning App Builder, Lightning Record Pages, and Lightning Components for building intuitive and user-friendly interfaces; and

7. Salesforce integration methods and technologies, including REST API, SOAP API, Bulk API, and Salesforce Connect, to integrate Salesforce with external systems and applications.
