Security Professional - Education Site Patrol

As a Security Professional - Education Site Patrol in Castle Hayne, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a sense of order, while your strong communication and customer service skills support positive interactions. This position may require driving as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to individuals at the education location by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related incidents as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activities and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents observed during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff, and visitors while maintaining a visible presence on the premises.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required.
• A minimum of 6 months of security experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
