CDI Engineering Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Consulting Engineers Limited (TCE), is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.

Long term in plant assigned located in Beaumont, TX.

IT Technician responsible for managing and maintaining the Sofware utilized in a chemical facility, including LIMS software used in laboratories to track samples, manage workflows, and ensure data integrity. Provide assistance and information around electronics, computers and software problems. Position to provide hardware set-up support in a chemical facility.

Ability to learn new systems.

System Administration: including managing the plant's LIMS software, including user access, permissions, and system configuration.

Data Management: Ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of data.

Workflow Management: Optimizing and maintaining laboratory workflows within the LIMS.

Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving technical issues within the sites systems and software's.

Reporting: Generating reports and analyzing data.

Training: Providing training to plant personnel on the use of software.

System Upgrades: Participating in system and software upgrades and implementations.

Exposure to LIMS Software.

Quality assurance department or background in QA/QC a plus.

Computer hardware / software, network configuration.

Windows operating system.

Experience working in a chemical or refinery plant environment.

Experience with data management and analysis.
