Job Summary

This is a role within CG's Finance group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Prepare timely and accurate

inventory reporting, including but not limited to value, location, and turns., and (ii) Assist in preparing monthly

excess and obsolete inventory reporting, lower of cost or market analysis, and related accounting entries under

supervision. Requires 0-2 years relevant work experience and a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

or Finance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Prepare timely and accurate inventory reporting, including but not limited to value, location, and turns.

* Assist in preparing monthly excess and obsolete inventory reporting, lower of cost or market analysis and related accounting entries.

* Create monthly inventory forecast

* Assist in and annual budget in coordination with the IBP process

* Review inventory accounts and other manual accounts and complete the corresponding reconciliation accounts monthly.

* Provide value-added analytical reporting, including ad hoc requests, to support sales and operations planning.

* Identify efficiencies and inventory reduction opportunities.

* Identify and implement process improvements to reduce finance business process cycle times, improve financial forecast quality using latest SAP/BI/BPC and other tools.

* Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

* Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential.

* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

* Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience:

*0-2 years relevant work experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Working knowledge using ERP Financial Systems (e.g. SAP) and data analysis

* Ability to work and manage relationships in a matrix, manufacturing environment

* Power BI

Other:

* This is a hybrid role, offering three days onsite at our headquarters in Oakbrook, IL and two days remote.

*5% travel in North America

Preferred Qualifications

Experience:

* 2+ years of financial support in a manufacturing organization * Intern experience in a financial environment is a plus

* Financial forecast development experience, experience developing and presenting financial data in Microsoft Excel

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* SAP Experience

* BPC

* Fluent in English and Spanish

Other:

* Fluent in English and Spanish

The payrange for this position is $51,000- $82,000; base payoffered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).This position is eligible for

participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the

applicable plans and policies.
