IT Help Desk Specialist

The Help Desk Specialist will provide Help Desk support including hardware/software installations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and training. Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction. Works to create process improvements to reduce help desk calls.

The Help Desk Specialist will:



  • Ensures the configuration and installation of PCs is completed accurately.
  • Assists System Administrator with server administration and network administration.
  • Assists users with computer solutions in a cooperative, friendly manner.
  • Perform administration, preventative maintenance, repair, and replacement of non-standard CBC/CTS equipment.
  • Develop and maintain documentation such as Help Desk problem resolutions and Help Desk tips for all aspects of the job.


Education:



  • Associates degree in Computer Science or High School/GED with 3 years of relevant experience required.


Work Environment and Physical Activities:



  • Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to be on-call on a regular basis and travel to branch locations, as needed.
  • Meet driver insurability standards as established by CBC/CTS.
