Zayo is seeking an experienced and visionary Integration Platforms Senior Manager to lead the design, delivery, and evolution of our enterprise integration capabilities. The Integration Platforms Senior Manager will be responsible for building and managing scalable API management solutions, middleware platforms, and enterprise integration strategies that enable secure, real-time, and resilient data flow across business systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, deployment, and lifecycle management of the enterprise integration platform, including API gateways, ESBs, message brokers, and event streaming services.

  • Drive the end-to-end strategy for API management, including security, governance, lifecycle, analytics, and developer enablement.

  • Collaborate closely with architecture, product, and engineering teams to align integration strategies with business goals and application needs.

  • Build and manage a high-performing integration team; mentor engineers and architects to promote technical excellence and innovation.

  • Establish best practices, standards, and frameworks for middleware and integration development (e.g., REST, SOAP, GraphQL, async messaging).

  • Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiation, and integration of third-party middleware solutions.

  • Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance through continuous monitoring and improvement.

  • Champion a DevOps culture and support CI/CD pipelines for integration components.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of IT experience with a strong focus on systems integration and enterprise architecture.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in managing teams and delivering integration or middleware platforms at scale.

  • Deep knowledge of API Management platforms (e.g., Apigee, Mulesoft, Kong, WSO2) and middleware technologies (e.g., Kafka, IBM MQ, TIBCO, WebMethods).

  • Strong experience with integration patterns, event-driven architecture, and microservices.

  • Proven ability to stand up and scale enterprise integration platforms from the ground up.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team-building skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-native integration services on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Background in regulated industries or large-scale digital transformations.

  • Familiarity with Agile delivery models and modern SDLC tools.

Estimated Base Salary Range: $108,500 - $155,000 USD/annually.

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
