Director, Supplier Management & Delivery (Remote)

Full-time, United States

The Director, Supplier Management & Delivery will be responsible for managing all aspects of an assigned portfolio of suppliers including but not limited to developing and directing supplier strategy, contract negotiation, driving key initiatives, financials (budgets, billing, payment, and profitability), business planning and reviews, establishing relationships with key decision makers globally, business continuance, and escalation of operational issues.

As a Director, Supplier Management & Delivery, you will

• Negotiate agreements with preferred suppliers (global, regional, country, 3rd party aggregators, wholesalers, etc.)
• Create and implement strategies to drive incremental revenue
• Develop vendor maximization strategy to increase performance/earnings under new and existing preferred supplier programs
• Build and maintain supplier relationships
• Assist with the creation budget and forecast for a portfolio of suppliers
• Analyze supplier performance contracts to ensure optimal revenues and earnings rates
• Handle supplier questions, resolve issues/problems
  

About you

• Extensive travel industry experience in supplier relations or management role
• Experience implementing & managing large market/ global suppliers
• Strong understanding of business travel management
• Contract negotiation experience is required
• Effective communication skills in English (oral, written & presentation)
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications preferred
• Ability to travel domestically & internationally

At BCD Travel we value you, our culture and success is defined by you. We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Director, Supplier Management & Delivery is between $95,000 and $130,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
