Description

Acara solutions is looking for a Materials Panner l to work for our partner located in Palo Alto, CA who specializes in Electronics.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $22-28/hr DOE
Hours: 8am-5pm
Duration: Temporary ( 3-6 months)

Here's what you'd do:

  • MRP planning & scheduling. Analyze MRP output to ensure material availability to meet planned issue week. Generate work order releases and prepare picklist and documentation router packets to stockrooms for kit picking.
  • Initiates manufacturing orders or purchase requisitions with emphasis on planned medium to low dollar value items based on the master production schedule and inventory requirements. Initiates the rescheduling actions necessary to meet the master production plan.
  • Works with Production supervisors and Master Schedulers to ensure execution and conformance to production schedules.
  • Assists in establishing planning factors such as items planning lead-times and order policies
  • Resolves problems associated with discrepant material, rework, scrap, over shipment and shortages
  • Assists with special projects as assigned.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  1. 2+ years minimum of experience in related materials/production activity
  2. 2+ years minimum experience with Microsoft applications (Excel/Word)
  3. Good organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce across all levels of the organization.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  1. APICS preferred
