As a Gen AI Engineer, you work on conceptualizing, designing, developing, and implementing prototypes and use cases that harness the power of Gen AI technologies to empower our teams and customers. The team works closely with business stakeholders and the Tech Innovation team to deploy cutting-edge technologies and solutions. Requirements We Look For:

• Advanced experience integrating Gen AI services, frameworks and building successful experiences

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and develop use cases for leveraging Gen AI and the LLM ecosystem to address specific business challenges, streamline operations, and improve customer experiences.

• Design and develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the feasibility and value of Generative AI solutions and drive them to Production.

• Design, Develop, and Implement scalable cloud-native applications leveraging the latest full-stack technologies and frameworks.

• Facilitate and conduct testing/validation to ensure model output accuracy and reliability.

• Integrate Generative AI/LLM capabilities and services, APIs, and proprietary machine learning models to meet use cases and enhance the capabilities of existing or new applications.

• Work with large, complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and develop data-driven applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, prompt engineers, data engineers, cloud engineers, and product managers, to ensure successful delivery.

• Share expertise and knowledge to upskill team and engineers across the organization.

• Innovation / Research and Development: Stay at the forefront of the latest advancements in the field and proactively identify opportunities to apply them to our business processes.

• Communication: Effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences, fostering collaboration adoption, and ensuring a shared understanding of project requirements, goals and outcomes.

Technical Skills

• Deep Development experience in at least one public cloud provider.

• Proficiency in building and running platforms and cloud-native applications at scale.

• Advanced knowledge of AI architecture, concepts and governance practices.

• Experience developing applications using large language models, vector databases, prompt engineering, and the latest in GenAI tools + frameworks.

• Advanced experience in various languages such as Python and SQL.

• Experience with Front-End development in React

• Experience with service-oriented architectures.

• Experience developing and integrating with API's.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and development practices leveraging Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes

• Experience with database design and development using Postgres, Redis or other NoSQL data stores.

• Experience leveraging open-source frameworks to build GenAI applications.

• Demonstrate a deep knowledge & ability to operationalize scalable web/web services applications with industry standards and best practices.

• A bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, software engineering, or a related field such as MIS is preferred.

• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, including proficiency in Python.

• 3+ years of experience leading projects and mentoring junior developers.

• 3+ years working experience with at least cloud platform.

• Passion for innovation and curiosity to explore new ideas. Self-starter mindset.

• Ability to derive and drive technical solutions from non-technical users.

• Proficient in mastering technologies to tackle pivotal business challenges independently and proactively.

• Demonstrate aptitude for thriving in ambiguous situations and taking decisive initiative.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and knowledge-sharing specifically in cross-functional settings.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with business partners and technical teams.

• Strong problem-solving skills, debugging, and ability to analyze complex problems and communicate findings.

• Inquisitive mindset, unafraid to ask probing questions to understand business processes.
