This contract supports the U.S. Army Program Executive Office (PEO) Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (STRI) Project Manager for Cyber, Test, and Training (PM CT2) Program Management Office (PMO). Great Hill Solutions, LLCis seeking a part-time Contracts Advisor in Orlando, FL. The objective of this work is to support the PM with contracting actions, coordination, and communication. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the gathering, coordination, and completion of various Contract Requirements Packages. This includes but not limited to the following: Statement of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), Document Summary List, Funding Documents.
- Assist coordination with functional organizations within the PM to obtain Independent Government Estimates.
- Assist coordination with the PM and ultimately the PEO to obtain Service Contracting Approvals.
- Assist coordination within the PM and ultimately the PEO to obtain Functional Requirements Authentication Board (FRAB) certification. Assist in developing documentation for all Peer Reviews. Assist in developing/tracking Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) input for contracts.
- Assist in developing/tracking Defense Property Accountability System contract entries. Assist in developing Market Research Reports.
- Support the PM/DPEO/PEO engagements and interface with centers across the entire contracting enterprise, specifically Army Contracting Command (ACC)-Orlando and ACC-Redstone Arsenal at the behest of the APEO for Acquisition Support, Director for Contracts and Policy.
- Serve as an acquisition analyst providing acquisition planning, contract requirements development, and contract monitoring support.
- Provide technical advice to all levels within PEO concerning all aspects of contracting.
Basic Qualifications:
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 10 years of contracting/acquisition experience.
- Familiarity with Defense FARs, Army FARs, and Acquisition procedures.
- Must have effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to prepare and/or edit written correspondence, ensuring proper use of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Desired Skills:
- Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) PM Level 3 certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the skills to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the capability to own deadline-conscious projects from start to finish.
- Ability to work within a team in a fast-paced, deadline-conscious, results-driven environment with a dedicated sense of urgency.
