We are seeking a Technology Architect with 8 to 12 years of experience in Pega technologies and insurance domains. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in Pega Reporting Platform and Application Development to drive innovative solutions in Property & Casualty and Life and Annuities Insurance. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can enhance user experiences and streamline case management processes.

Role: Sr Developer

Experience: 8- 12 Years

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 and $130,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Pega-based solutions to enhance business processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain Pega applications ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Oversee the integration of Pega systems with existing IT infrastructure to ensure seamless data flow and accessibility.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Optimize Pega user experiences by implementing intuitive interfaces and enhancing mobility features.
  • Lead efforts in Pega Case Management to streamline workflows and improve case resolution times.
  • Utilize Pega Marketing and Decision Hub to drive targeted marketing campaigns and improve customer engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards particularly in Property & Casualty and Life and Annuities Insurance.
  • Conduct regular performance assessments and implement improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Pega technologies and industry trends to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Contribute to the companys mission by delivering solutions that positively impact society and drive business success.

Qualifications

  • Possess strong expertise in Pega Reporting Platform and Application Development.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Pega Data and Integration User Experience and Mobility.
  • Have extensive experience in Pega Case Management and Marketing.
  • Show a deep understanding of Property & Casualty and Life and Annuities Insurance domains.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model.
  • Display excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Hold a Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) or equivalent certification.
