The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Learning & Development, specializing in developing, delivering, and managing a comprehensive training program to support workforce competence, safety, and compliance. This role covers all aspects of employee training, including curriculum development, training delivery, record keeping, and Learning Management System (LMS) administration.

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong training background in the electrical construction/electrical utility services who wants to join a dedicated, fast-moving team and who is thorough, precise, and is a true team player.

Key Responsibilities



  • Training Delivery & Facilitation - Deliver engaging & effective in-person & virtual training for field/office; facilitation of weekly Toolbox Talks, Fleet Safety Memos, and Safety Bulletins; and help facilitate new hire onboarding training.
  • Curriculum & Content Management - Develop and maintain standardized training curricula; partner with Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to create training materials, job aids, and procedures guides/checklists; and ensure training content aligns industry/customer specific requirements and standards.
  • Training Record Management - Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records; monitor training completion, recertification schedules, and compliance with mandatory training requirements; and generate training reports and metrics.
  • LMS Administration - Administer the company's LMS (Learning Management System) including user management and content; and troubleshoot user issues, new features to ensure positive learner experience.
  • Continuous Improvement - Work across all departments to identify knowledge, skill, and ability (KSA) gaps and propose solutions to close them; and support employee learning plans and associate programs by identifying and assigning learning resources.



Who We're Looking For



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school; and minimum of 5 years related industry experience in training management and development - instructor certifications preferred.


  • Training and development experience in the commercial electrical construction services industry including proficiency with LMS Management Systems.
  • Field experience in electrical construction and/or electrical utility services with prior experience in a safety role desirable.
  • Local to York, PA Corporate Office (preferable) but with regular travel to other offices, customer facilities, jobsites and yard locations for trainings and offsite meetings (flexibility to work from home when appropriate).
  • A "can-do" attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
