Summary The Community Data Exchange Collaborative (CDEC) is a Program of the Public Health Institute (PHI) with a focus on building the capacity of groups to work together to transform their communities into healthier environments. PHI has been dedicated to promoting health, well-being, and quality of life for people throughout California, across the nation, and around the world. PHI strives to generate and promote research, leadership, and partnerships to build capacity for strong public health policy, programs, systems, and practices. The CDEC leads the Ventura County Community Information Exchange (VCCIE), navigating the intersection of health and social services through information sharing and coordinated care. The Communications Specialist is responsible for a variety of communication processes to help strengthen the VCCIE message within Ventura County. These processes include setting internal and external communication protocols to ensure smooth execution of VCCIE program messaging with its stakeholders. The work will also include designing and producing Spanish language marketing materials, translation services, and outreach support for the VCCIE including attending in-person and virtual events. Work may also include supporting the internal tracking and management of communications with a variety of community stakeholders to ensure smooth program operations. The individual hired for this position must be able to attend events that take place on weekends or outside standard business hours as required. This is a regular full-time position. Work Location: This is a hybrid (both remote and in-person) position based in Ventura County, California. The candidate must be prepared to work remotely in Ventura County and have equipment (or access to equipment) to perform all duties in a non-standard office environment. The candidate must have access to reliable transportation to attend community events located throughout Ventura County. The individual hired for this position must live in Ventura County. Full salary range for this position: $64,542 to $92,421 per year. The typical hiring range for this position is from $64,542 (minimum) to $78,482 (midpoint), based on 100% FTE. The starting salary is determined using a variety of factors, such as the candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity consideration and budget availability.
