This position is designated as work-from-home.

Description:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and leading the design and implementation of MuleSoft integration solutions. The MuleSoft Technical Lead's duties will include coordinating with the project management team, defining system specifications, participating in the entire software development lifecycle, and leading the team to successful project completion.

Essential Functions & Duties:

  • The MuleSoft Technical Lead is responsible for managing the MuleSoft development team, overseeing the implementation of MuleSoft solutions and ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects that meet client requirements.
  • The Lead Role possess advanced knowledge of the MuleSoft platform and has a strong understanding of API-led connectivity, microservices architecture, and integration patterns.
  • Managing the end-to-end development process of MuleSoft applications, including design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Leading and mentoring the MuleSoft development team to ensure the product's success
  • Communicating with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translating these into technical specifications
  • Designing and implementing MuleSoft APIs and integration architectures
  • Developing and enforcing coding standards, best practices, and procedures for the MuleSoft team
  • Identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical issues and bottlenecks in a timely and efficient manner
  • Providing technical expertise in the use of the MuleSoft Anypoint platform
  • Creating technical documentation for design, configuration, and deployment of MuleSoft applications
  • Collaborating with other teams (e.g., infrastructure, security, testing) to ensure seamless integration and delivery
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest MuleSoft features, updates, and best practices to continuously improve project delivery efficiency
  • Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to the integration
  • Ensure that the MuleSoft integration solutions adhere to established standards and best practices

Skills, Qualifications and Certifications of Best Candidates:

  • Proven work experience as a MuleSoft developer or architect
  • Experience in leading and managing software development teams
  • Proficiency in MuleSoft integration and API development
  • Excellent knowledge of RESTful APIs, RAML, and SOAP
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodology
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think logically and analytically
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Industry certification(s)

Required Skill and technical stacks:

  • Networking, Linux Admin, Ansible for automation, GitHub, Artifactory,
  • Deployment Experience with MuleSoft

Citizenship or Work Authorization Required:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Federal Government Position of Trust
  • Must be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Education & Experience: Commensurate experience in IT and in new and related older technology that directly relates to the required area of expertise.

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience preferred

A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $135,000-$160,000
