Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the Recruitment Specialist is to attract, screen, interview and retain top talent for highvolume, primarily skilled and highly skilled positions. This includes developing and executing recruitment strategies to
identify and engage qualified candidates, conducting efficient and thorough screening processes, and ensuring high
retention rates through effective onboarding and continuous engagement initiatives.
Your Role & Responsibilities:
* Ensure that talent is not only attracted and selected effectively but also remains engaged, motivated, and supported
throughout their journey with the organization.
* Proactively develop creative sourcing plans that include traditional networking approaches through community
engagement with schools, colleges, vocational schools for skilled roles, web-based, and social media channels.
* Own and write effective content for online job postings to attract both active and passive candidates via job boards
integrated with the ATS system.
* Screen and recommend candidates to fill orders.
* Build and retain an active pipeline of candidates for all roles and maintain and update the candidate database.
* Re-utilize active candidates and understand open positions to positively impact order fulfillment.
* Leverage data to set realistic expectations, based on current volume, to successfully fill positions in a timely manner.
* Participate in whiteboard meetings to understand daily order fill goals and prioritize open orders.
* Leverage market knowledge and client needs to successfully fill orders with qualified candidates.
* Lead candidates through the interview cycle based on their experiences, skills, expectations, and availability.
* Process candidates through the full vetting cycle and document all job activities.
* Conduct drug screens, I-9s, and background checks.
* Provide leads to the sales organization based on insights gathered through conversations with talent.
* Regularly communicate with talent to assess their experiences, challenges, and opportunities for improvement while
promoting retention, upskilling, and satisfaction.
Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience:
* High school diploma/equivalent or 6 months related experience.
* Experience using various platforms and dashboards to drive effective decisions

* Ability to source and attract talent.
* Proven experience in assessing talent potential (focusing on attitude, skill, and cultural fit)
* Community volunteering or social outreach experience.
* Excellent customer service skills including ability to react appropriately in stressful situations and deal with difficult
customer or talent situations diplomatically.
* Demonstrable time management and organization skills
* Communicates information and ideas clearly and articulately both in oral and written form. Uses appropriate
language, style and methods depending on audience and the purpose of communication.
* Responds positively to change and adapts to new situations quickly. Able to take on a diverse range of tasks equally
effectively.

Standard Office: Typically work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office
equipment. This position requires compliance for all occupational safety and health standards, rules, and regulations.
