What You'll Do:
The Collections Coordinator is responsible for handling all collections tasks related to Triton Container Sales (TCS) invoices to achieve timely payment within Triton standards.
Key Responsibilities Include:


  • Handling collections of all TCS related invoicing. This requires sending monthly statements, solving billing queries and instructing the Accounts Receivable team in HQ in a timely manner on how to allocate money as it comes in.
  • Check on all the outstanding bookings and liaise with customers for their pick-up plan on a weekly basis.
  • Processing vendor invoices for payment.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as needed.



What We're Looking For:


  • 0-3 years of experience as a marketing or collections assistant or in a customer service role, preferably in the container leasing, shipping, or transportation industries.
  • Bachelors or Associates degree in Marketing or Business Administration preferred.
  • Knowledge of accounting and credit/collections process preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, specifically Excel.
  • Ability to adapt to in-house systems and software.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of additional languages such as Spanish is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform efficiently in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated, high energy level and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints and have a pro-active attitude for solving queries.
  • Must be at a commutable distance (within 50 miles) to the Houston office
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
