Shipper/Receiver

We are looking for someone to backfill one of our promoted team members. Will it be you?

• English language - ability to read, understand, speak, write, and interpret common manufacturing/shipping documents; Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Proficient in data entry.
• Attention to detail.
• Judgment and decision-making to prevent errors, safety hazards, or other poor results pertaining to job duties Safety - knowledge of industrial safety and ability to recognize hazards and apply safety procedures common to manual material handling and operating equipment, such as hazmat, MSDS, personal protective equipment, machine tool safety. ; Work to meet and exceed OSHA requirements for safe work practices.
• Math - knowledge and ability to apply arithmetic skills, such as adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, and fractions for the purpose of operating saw machines and workpiece inspection.
• .Problem solving skills to identify problems, inform others, and provide information to assist with solving the problem.
• Teamwork - ability to work effectively with coworkers, supervisors, managers, and others.
• Ability to operate forklift and other material handling machinery.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Ability to work shifts as required.
