Job Summary:

This role is responsible for research, evaluation, administration, and communication of the Company's US and Canadian benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement plans, and leave of absence programs. Provides project leadership and management of benefit initiatives. Monitors benefit trends and stays abreast of applicable benefits legislation. Ensure the Company's compliance with COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, Section 125, FMLA and other federal and state regulations.

  • This will be a hybrid role connected to our Greenville, WI, location.


Compensation Information:



  • Annual salary range of $56,000-$70,000 with a defined annual incentive plan.


What you'll do:



  • Administer day-to-day operations of group benefits programs (health, dental, vision, life, disability, etc.). Assist with annual benefit renewals.
  • Ensure accurate enrollment, changes, and terminations in HRIS and vendor systems, working closely with payroll and HRIS Analysts to ensure data integrity.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefit plans, eligibility, coverage, and claims resolution. Serve as a liaison between vendors and employees to resolve benefits-related issues.
  • Develop and deliver clear, engaging communications to educate employees about benefit offerings, changes, and processes through various channels such as emails, presentations, intranet content, videos, and informational sessions.
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment, including communication, system updates, and vendor collaboration.
  • Work with Finance and other departments on benefits reporting and cost analysis.
  • Administer and track FMLA, ADA, and other statutory and Company leave programs, ensuring compliance with federal and state leave laws and Company policies. Communicate with employees and managers regarding leave eligibility, process, and return-to-work coordination.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other applicable laws.
  • Assist in preparation of reports and filings (5500s, ACA reporting, audits, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Administer the Company awards programs, including manager spot awards, service awards and annual Transforming More and Inspiration Awards.
  • Plan and coordinate employee wellness initiatives and activities, working closely with teams across the Company.

  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret benefits data and identify trends or discrepancies.
  • In-depth understanding of benefits-related regulations (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, etc.).
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex benefits-related issues by identifying root causes, evaluating alternatives, and implementing effective solutions to support employee satisfaction and compliance with plan provisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, open enrollment projects, and vendor transitions effectively.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive employee information with the highest level of confidentiality.


Minimum Required Qualifications:



  • 3+ years of benefits experience.
  • Strong knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems


Education and/or Certifications Required:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
