Job Description

The Global DMX Product Owner will implement complete and thoughtful features and capabilities on FIIX, Sprecher & Schuh and Plex websites, based on customer needs and business value. Working closely with our UX design, research, development, content, IT, demand generation, and marketing teams, this role will provide a clear definition of user stories, prioritization, dependencies, acceptance, and delivery of user-centric solutions that are aligned to meet current and future marketing and business needs.

Reporting to the Director of Global Digital Marketing, this is a hybrid role that could be based in our Milwaukee or Cleveland locations.

What you will do;

Digital Product Strategy:

  • Define and communicate the strategy for our websites
  • Conduct market research, user studies, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product strategy.
  • Collaborate with partners to align websites roadmap with our goals.

Product Planning and Roadmap:

  • Maintain a prioritized product backlog, ensuring an understanding of strategic objectives.
  • To build product releases, you will work with several groups, including user experience, content, development, and QA.
  • Prioritize features based on customer feedback, analytics, and market trends.

Requirements Gathering and Documentation:

  • Elicit and document clear and detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with partners to ensure a shared understanding of product requirements and expectations.

Iteration Planning:

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
  • Guide development teams on product priorities and ensure the delivery of features.
  • Review and accept completed user stories to ensure they meet acceptance criteria and quality standards.

Product Performance and Optimization:

  • Monitor measurements and user feedback to assess product performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Improve product features based on user feedback, A/B testing, and data-driven insights.
  • Improve through experimentation and optimization.

Partner Management:

  • Be the primary contact for partners, providing regular updates on product status, roadmap, and risks.
  • Collaborate with our teams and external partners to gather input, manage expectations, and resolve conflicts.

User Experience and Design Collaboration:

  • Work with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
  • Provide input on wireframes, prototypes, and design iterations to ensure agreement on product goals and user needs.

Essential Qualifications - You will have;

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualifications - You may also have;

  • 5+ years' experience working as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in digital product development.
  • 5+ years' experience working with Agile project management tools like JIRA, WorkFront, and ClickUp.
  • 5+ years' experience working with Collaboration tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, Confluence, Miro, and Microsoft Project.
  • 5+ years' experience working with Content Management Systems such as Adobe Experience Manager, Drupal, and WordPress.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, and XSLT.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles and best practices.
  • 5+ years' experience with product analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
