Grain Millers, Inc., a global leader in whole grain ingredients and one of the largest conventional and organic oat millers in the world, is currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented person to join our Sanitation team in St. Ansgar, Iowa. This full-time position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and food-grade environment across both our plant and office facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for performing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks that support our commitment to food safety, quality, and operational excellence.

You will be responsible for cleaning restrooms, locker rooms, break rooms, and office areas. Your daily duties will include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing surfaces, restocking supplies, and emptying trash and recycling containers. You will also clean appliances, water fountains, mirrors, and high-touch surfaces along with other duties as assigned. You will be expected to follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), adhere to the Master Sanitation Schedule, and provide backup support for sanitation relief and other areas when needed.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. You should be physically capable of performing tasks such as lifting, bending, climbing stairs and ladders, and standing for extended periods. Basic computer skills and good verbal communication are also important. The work schedule is Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts, and occasional overtime may be required based on business needs. The work environment includes exposure to dust from grain milling and varying indoor and outdoor temperatures.
