Trim & Pack- Metals (3rd Shift- $20.90/hr.)

As a Trim & Pack Operatoryou will prepare and expand cores to size as specified and prepare for shipment. You may also have to drive a hi-lo.

Currently there is an opening for aTrim & Pack Operatorin ourMetalsdivision on3rd shift (Sunday - Thursday 10:30PM to 6:30AM)

Metals Trim & Pack:Starting at $20.90 per hour on 3rdShift!

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper housekeeping standards are maintained through clean-up of scrap, cardboard, and skids.
• Assemble proper materials for the job.
• Cut materials to specified size.
• Measure end product for accuracy.
• Prepare cores for shipment.
• Make boxes and pack materials.
• Complete documentation correctly and neatly.
• Assist other departments as necessary.
• Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery by being efficient, productive, and careful.
• Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment, and methods.
• Handle internal and external questions in a prompt professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Continually looks for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.
• Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to work overtime.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
