The Global Chemical Inventory (GCI) Manager is responsible for leading the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of Solenis' global chemical registration activities. This role ensures compliance with national and regional chemical inventory regulations, enabling the company to legally and effectively market chemical products worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will lead the design, development, and management of Solenis' Global Chemical Inventory (GCI) strategy.

  • You will ensure appropriate chemical registrations are in place to support global market access.

  • You will prioritize registration projects in collaboration with key stakeholders, including R&D, Supply Chain, EHS, and Product Management teams.

  • You will develop and execute strategic registration plans aligned with business goals.

  • You are responsible for managing a global team of regulatory professionals, including direct and indirect reports, with expertise across various regions and countries.

  • You will oversee compliance with chemical inventory regulations such as EU-REACH, UK-REACH, KKDIK (Turkey), K-REACH (Korea), and other evolving national frameworks (e.g., Australia, Russia, India, Brazil, China, Japan, Chile, Colombia, Ukraine).

  • You will plan and coordinate scientific studies, including analytical, environmental, and toxicological testing to support registrations.

  • You are responsible for maintaining internal GCI data systems and ensuring accurate data filing and documentation.

  • You will ensure raw material supplier compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • You will coordinate responses to customer inquiries related to GCI and product compliance.

  • You will represent Solenis in relevant industry organizations and consortia, particularly in Europe and the United Kingdom, in partnership with Strategy and Product Stewardship.

  • You are responsible for managing the financial planning and budgeting for regulatory projects, including BPR, EPA, and REACH submissions.

  • You will oversee capital expenditure for regulatory-related business initiatives.

  • You will lead contract governance for legal and regulatory consulting services.

  • You will coordinate the development, filing, and maintenance of registration dossiers and position papers.

  • You will provide resolution guidance for regulatory-related SAP system issues, such as REACH error blocks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Regulatory Affairs, or related field.

  • Extensive experience in global chemical regulatory compliance and inventory management.

  • Proven leadership in managing cross-functional and international regulatory teams.

  • Deep knowledge of global chemical regulations and evolving compliance frameworks.

  • Strong project management, budgeting, and stakeholder communication skills.

  • Experience with SAP and regulatory data systems is preferred.
