ChampionX has an immediate need for a District Representative II located in Houston, TX. The District Representative is responsible for promoting and selling the company's products or services, building strong relationships with new and existing clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves identifying market opportunities, negotiating deals, and supporting the company's strategic growth initiatives.

The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial self-starter who is effective in creating and closing opportunities with minimal supervision. The candidate will have a proven record spanning from regional key account management, strategic channel development, and demand creation. A significant success factor will be the ability to leverage existing ChampionX channels in the region to achieve the required business results.

What You Will Do:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in assigned territories or sectors.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and partners.

  • Present and promote products/services to prospective clients through meetings, calls, or presentations.

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in accordance with company policies.

  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, logistics, and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Prepare and deliver sales funnel updates, forecasts, and performance analyses to management.

  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events as needed.

  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets

  • Identify and develop strategic account plans leveraging other channel partner (internal and external) resources.

  • Maintain expert level of product and application knowledge regarding atmospheric sciences and emissions monitoring.

  • Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts, and correspondence in company approved databases through our assigned CRM.

  • Other duties as required.

  • Maintains confidentiality of all matters.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Atmospheric Sciences, Business or related field.

  • Three years' experience in Oil & Gas.

  • Ability to work without direct supervision.

  • Self-Driven work ethic.

  • Strong Math and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication, Interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.

  • Use a computer to communicate, create, and access information.

  • Competitive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to enthusiastically represent the company

  • Availability for inter-regional travel 60-80%

  • Ability to work within the US without sponsorship of VISA.

  • Must have reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience and Knowledge of ESG, Emissions and/or Atmospheric Sciences.
