Overview

Nakupuna Solutions is seeking an Information Management Officer (IMO). The Information Management Officer is responsible for overseeing and managing an organization's information systems, policies, and procedures while ensuring efficient information flow, security compliance, and optimal use of information resources.

  • Develop and implement information management policies and procedures
  • Oversee information systems security and access controls
  • Gather, analyze, respond to, resolve, or forward customer IT service requirements or problems in the most efficient and effective manner
  • Manage document control and records management systems
  • Coordinate information technology initiatives and projects
  • Employ the Government's IMO business processes and tools. IMO support services shall include monitoring of service requests and incident tickets to ensure service performance standards are being met, and service delay issues shall be escalated to the Government lead(s).
  • Ensure compliance with information security regulations
  • Supervise data backup and recovery procedures
  • Lead information management training programs
  • Conduct information systems audits
  • Manage information lifecycle processes
  • Coordinate with IT teams for system implementations
  • Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Monitor and report on information management metrics
  • Guide information handling procedures


Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in information management, Computer Science, or related field
  • Master's degree preferred in Information Systems or Business Administration
  • 5+ years of experience in information management
  • Relevant certifications such as:
    • Certified Information Professional (CIP)
    • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • ITIL Certification

  • Strong knowledge of information management systems

Clearance Requirements: Active Secret security clearance required. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum, be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:

  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
  • Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergencies.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.

The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,000.00 to $100,000.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
