Moffatt & Nichol has an opening for a Structural Associate II in Richmond, VA. 40 hrs./wk. Job duties include: Assists the planning, design and preparation of construction documents (drawings, specifications, and cost estimates) for a wide variety of transportation and marine structures such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls and bulkheads. Assists in the development of plans for small projects, including cost estimates, budgets, scheduling and documentation preparation, support and evaluation. Works closely with other disciplines and offices in supporting multi-discipline projects. Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering field, and 1 year of experience as Staff Structural Engineering Associate or a role/capacity engaged in analysis and design of bridges or waterfront structures; 1 year of experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation software used for creating 2D and 3D designs; 1 year of experience with structural analysis software (AASHTOWare BrR, Conspan, Descus II, CSI Bridge, or SAP2000).
